Job Summary

A publishing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Sports Betting Managing Editor.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Creating and executing comprehensive editorial strategy for a new betting site and brand
• Leading day-to-day editorial operations for site including story ideation, distribution and execution
• Utilizing analytical tools and create reports for team that informs editorial decisions

Qualifications Include:

• 4-5 years experience as a journalist, editor, digital media specialist, etc
• Proven ability to ideate and execute an editorial strategy for league and tentpole event coverage
• Proven ability to hire, train and manage an editorial staff
• Ability to ideate and approve unique coverage ideas on a daily basis
• Extensive understanding of Sports Betting
• Knowledge of the NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA football and basketball
