Job Summary
A title and escrow provider has an open position for a Telecommute Staff Accountant.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Being responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory/statutory filings
- Being responsible for preparation of Statutory basis (STAT) financials, Statistical Reporting to various state departments of insurance
- Being responsible for operational and business analysis and the participation with cross-functional teams on special projects
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting required
- Certified Public Accountant preferred
- Minimum three years accounting experience
- External reporting experience required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Insurance Statutory (STAT) accounting
