Job Summary
A non-profit health insurance company is seeking a Telecommute Staff Accountant or Senior Staff Accountant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing cost allocations to various business lines and subsidiaries
- Preparing general ledger entries by maintaining records and files, and reconciling accounts to supporting documentation
- Performing an analysis of government revenue and expenses and give reasons for monthly and year over year changes
Qualifications for this position include:
- 1 or more years of related work experience
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience
- Experience with government contract accounting
- Experience with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
