Job Summary
A social media company is in need of a Telecommute Staff Software Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Define the technical vision for a team and implement that vision
- Build and scale features for more than 75 million registered athlete users
- Create processes, tools, and systems that increase the productivity and output of the technical team
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent wisdom
- Experience working as a backend developer for a software company operating at scale
- Deep expertise with Scala or a similar language (e.g. Java, Go, Ruby, Python)
- Able to assume a technical leadership position
