Job Summary

A publishing company has a current position open for a Telecommute STEM Field Higher Education Senior Editor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Vetting of freelancer candidates
• Creating freelancer writing specifications
• Authoring original or revised content on as-needed basis

Qualifications Include:

• 7+ years writing/editing experience in educational publishing, particularly with STEM disciplines, including assessment and creative content
• Master's degree or higher in STEM-related field
• High familiarity with educational publishing content and workflow
• Strong technical skills, a high level of comfort with and willingness to learn new technologies
• Comfort and familiarity with Bloom's taxonomy
• Ability to work constructively in an aggressively deadline-driven environment
