Job Summary

A non-profit organization has an open position for a Telecommute Storytelling Project Manager.

Must be able to:

  • Identify potential story subjects and cultivate relationships
  • Organize and shoot video interviews on location
  • Manage the storyboard process and creative direction for each video project

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel within the United States 1-3 times per month
  • 2+ years’ experience that demonstrates ability to produce engaging video stories and related digital content
  • Graphic design skills and comfort with Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator, Photoshop. InDesign
  • Strong familiarity with issues facing LGBTQ families, and an interest in the news, politics and current affairs
  • Ability to produce high-quality, journalistic-style written content for the web
  • Ability to work from a home office with high-speed internet and reliable phone service
