Job Summary
A non-profit organization has an open position for a Telecommute Storytelling Project Manager.
Must be able to:
- Identify potential story subjects and cultivate relationships
- Organize and shoot video interviews on location
- Manage the storyboard process and creative direction for each video project
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Willingness to travel within the United States 1-3 times per month
- 2+ years’ experience that demonstrates ability to produce engaging video stories and related digital content
- Graphic design skills and comfort with Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator, Photoshop. InDesign
- Strong familiarity with issues facing LGBTQ families, and an interest in the news, politics and current affairs
- Ability to produce high-quality, journalistic-style written content for the web
- Ability to work from a home office with high-speed internet and reliable phone service
