A publishing company has an open position for a Telecommute Substantive Editor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Assisting in editing our monthly print departments
• Ensuring the copy is written in the magazine's voice
• Identifying overall problems with the copy and working with writer to fix them

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of AP Style
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and punctuation
• Ability to work on tight deadlines
• Ability to work with writers to implement changes to their copy
