Telecommute Substitute School Counselor

Job Summary

An educational system is seeking a Telecommute Substitute School Counselor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Communicating with parents, students and other teachers on a regular basis
• Ensuring that each child successfully completes his/her instructional program
• Supporting various schools during short term periods of absences

Required Skills:

• Valid School Counseling certificate in Texas
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• During the time that Teacher is subbing, must be available Monday – Friday during normal business hours
• Complete required orientation and training programs upon hire and at the beginning of each school year
