Job Summary
A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Surgical Coder in Fountain Valley.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Achieve productivity and quality standards as established by management
- Analyze and interpret medical information in the medical record
- Conduct audits and provide ongoing education to MCMF physicians
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 3 years experience working in a hospital or physician’s office
- 1 year experience as a surgical coder in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiac Surgery or Neurosurgery
- Expert knowledge of ICD10, CPT, and HCPCS
- High school graduate or equivalent
- CPC, CCS, RHIT, or equivalent certification
- Specialty Coding certification
