Job Summary

A provider of coding services is filling a position for a Telecommute Surgical Medical Coder Quality Assurance Auditor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Ensure that QA percentages are within acceptable ranges
• Ensure staff and coder adherence to company processes, policies and procedures
• Implement a coding quality program based on client specific coding guidelines

Position Requirements Include:

• AHIMA, CCS, RHIA, AAPC, CPC or CPC-H Certification required
• ICD-10 experience
• Minimum of 7 years QA/Auditing experience
• Specialties include: Derm (Mohs surgery that includes flaps/grafts) and Plastics (flaps, breast)
• Surgical Oncology Knowledge– Whipple and abdominal procedures (tumors), ENT, Bariatrics, Colorectal
