Job Summary
A cloud hosting and deployment service provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Systems and Performance Senior Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and developing new systems
- Solving challenging software and hardware performance optimizations problems
- Managing capacity, designing systems architecture and performing technology refreshes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Take an all-expense-paid trip to our office to get quality in-person time with the team at least once a year
- Experience with one or more of the following languages: Golang, C/C, Perl, Python
- Experience as a software engineer, developer, or systems programmer
- Linux kernel expertise and upstream contribution
- Deep understanding of operating systems, virtualization, Linux internals and networking
