Job Summary

A staffing company has an open position for a Telecommute Systems Architect in Dallas.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Configure storage (SAN and IP-based)
  • Design and manage private clouds and hosted private clouds using VMware
  • Configure and troubleshoot network devices

Position Requirements Include:

  • Solid understanding of routing and switching
  • Automation is a big plus (AWS, OpenStack, Puppet, Chef, Python, PowerShell, Ruby, etc)
  • Relevant ongoing education through certifications, formal or self-study experience in disaster recover
  • Comfortable with a command line and vi
