Telecommute Systems Development Engineer II

Job Summary

A technology company is in need of a Telecommute Systems Development Engineer II.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure security best practices are identified and integrated into system designs and configuration
• Participate in an on-call rotation, triaging and escalating alerts, and assisting in disaster recovery
• Develop custom tools and automation through programming and scripting

Required Skills:

• 1-4 years experience using Source Control Management tools (e.g. Git, Subversion)
• 4 year Bachelor's Degree
• 1-4 years experience using issue tracking software (e.g. JIRA)
• 1-4 years experience in one or more of Continuous Integration Tools and Techniques
• 1-4 years experience as a power user of various operating systems (e.g. Linux, Shell Scripting)
• 1-4 years experience in a current programming language (e.g. Python, Golang) (Required)
