Job Summary

A mobile communication company has an open position for a Telecommute Systems Engineer in Sarasota.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Application and network troubleshooting in customer environments
  • Proactively monitoring servers and services at remote customer locations
  • Collaborating with developers on technical issues

Position Requirements Include:

  • Maintaining the Linux-based servers in production at customer sites
  • Experience configuring and integrating SIP/PRI Media Gateways
  • Experience with VoIP telephony systems
  • Experience with telephony features such as IVRs, transcoding, caller ID, extension mobility
  • Background in at least one general purpose scripting language for task automation
  • Bachelors Degree in computer science, related field or comparable work experience
