Job Summary
An internet services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Systems Engineer in Seattle.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building, configuring, and maintaining Linux based systems in mixed Public Cloud and Colocation environment
- Deploying, managing, and monitoring database systems including replication, and high availability configurations
- Troubleshooting complex systems based on open source technologies
Position Requirements Include:
- Willingness to dive into problems, whether familiar or not
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement for the team
- 3-5 years experience in Linux systems engineering roles
- Demonstrated passion for automation
- Familiarity with big data technologies as well as relational databases
- Familiarity with both a Colocation Data center environment as well as Public cloud
