Job Summary

An internet services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Systems Engineer in Seattle.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

Building, configuring, and maintaining Linux based systems in mixed Public Cloud and Colocation environment
Deploying, managing, and monitoring database systems including replication, and high availability configurations
Troubleshooting complex systems based on open source technologies

Position Requirements Include:

Willingness to dive into problems, whether familiar or not
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement for the team
3-5 years experience in Linux systems engineering roles
Demonstrated passion for automation
Familiarity with big data technologies as well as relational databases
Familiarity with both a Colocation Data center environment as well as Public cloud
