Job Summary
An investment services firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Systems Engineering Senior Manager in Phoenix.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing design, support, and operational leadership for the automation of our Mainframe infrastructure and subsystems
- Working with the various Mainframe Engineering teams along with Operations and Application teams to identify automated solutions
- Configuring, supporting, and maintaining automation-related software, code, and policies on all mainframe systems
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Demonstrated experience (5+years)
- High ability in mainframe automation design, development, and deployment, using NetView, System Automation z/OS (SA z/OS), and REXX
- Experience with direct work within a sophisticated server and mainframe environment (multi-site, multi-LPAR – virtual system) that demands industry class reliability, availability, and serviceability
- Ability to define requirements, designing, developing, training, and implementing of automation functions
- Ability to work closely with mainframe support and operation teams to drive better velocity of changes and better operations efficiencies
