Job Summary

Seeking committed freelance professional for a long-term operational support role in freelance talent assessment and curation using online talent platforms. Should have experience working with small, growing companies. Main focus of work will be providing support to a team that finds, vets and curates freelance talent for outside clients, including:
--Posting jobs to third party online platforms
--Screening candidates for qualification, fit and job requirements to invite to platform
--Inviting new candidates to apply to job postings
--Candidate follow-ups/reminders, and fielding questions (templates will be provided)
--Conducting interviews with candidates
--Writing candidate overviews from interview notes
--Helping edit client job definition/requirements overview

Key Skills/Work Areas:
1) Interviewing: excellent critical reasoning and judgement skills. Able to assess candidate's technical skills and experiences, as well as transferable skills. Able to ask the right questions to assess a candidate's true strengths and experiences.

2) Job description/requirement development: breaking jobs down into skill components, organizational design, business operations so these areas can be clearly assessed in interview

3) Organized and comfortable using online systems and processes, scheduling and managing priorities. Wants to create and/or improve upon organizational processes and structure.

4) Excellent communication and correspondence skills: written and verbal. Job requires regular communication with many freelancers and eventually with clients as well. As a small team, excellent internal communications of availability, progress and expectations is necessary.

5) Multitasking ability: juggling multiple jobs/tasks at one time, being able prioritize by importance to meet client needs, understanding the work varies as priorities shift each week. Can roll with the punches, pick up work, and jump on time sensitive tasks when needed.

6) Creative and proactive

7) Not necessarily a traditional recruiter, but may have recruiting experience

Starting at ~10 hours/week but role can expand for the right professional over time.
