Job Summary
A tax auditing company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Tax Auditor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting with and independently conduct audits for one ore more local taxing jurisdictions
- Preparing detailed work papers with proper documentation of audit cycle
- Identifying, documenting and submitting new audit leads
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and records
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Must have strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Minimum 2-year general accounting, finance or equivalent experience
