Job Summary
A tax processing solutions company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Tax Processing Specialist I.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing and addressing Clients’ tax mail (forms, notices, and bulletins)
- Preparing and submitting sales tax registrations on behalf of clients
- Reconciling bank activity for assigned clients
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or similar or
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- 2 plus years of accounting, finance, tax experience
- Ability to work independently on routine work
- Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
- Ability to display sound judgment and problem solving to resolve issues
