Job Summary

A financial company is filling a position for a Telecommute Tax Research Specialist in Santa Ana.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Assist DIY clients with their tax questions
• Provide detailed and accurate responses
• Utilize company's tax preparation software

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Completion of the Ask a Tax Advisor training course with a cumulative passing grade of 80%
• Intermediate computer skills, including the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to utilize web-based research tools
• Ability to provide advice on tax law and regulations
• Ability to explain calculations and where to enter data into the program
• Ability to advise on issues with the IRS or a state’s Department of Revenue
