Job Summary

A planning and consulting firm is seeking a Telecommute Tax Supervisor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Performing detailed reviews of tax returns and workpapers
  • Reviewing tax returns, research, communications, and other requested deliverables
  • Leading tax compliance engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 2 years of experience within a public accounting firm
  • BS/BA in Accounting
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a tax setting
  • Proven demonstration of tax compliance across a broad range of entity types and multiple states
  • 3 years of experience preparing/reviewing individual (1040), business (1065, 1120, 1120S) nonprofit (990) and trust returns
  • Must be able to effectively supervise, train and work with a team of 3-4 tax preparers
