Job Summary

A teletherapy services provider is seeking a Telecommute Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Detroit.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with various caseloads ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade
  • Writing IEP goals, as well as participating in testing and assessments
  • Providing all services to students via teleconferencing software

Qualifications Include:

  • Master’s Level Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf Students
  • Michigan State Teaching Certification in Deaf Education; fluency in ASL
  • Ability to adapt to each classroom of students with some modification to traditional teaching methods
  • Experience consulting with special education teachers and the ability to create interactive treatment ideas and lesson plans
