Job Summary
A teletherapy company is filling a position for a Telecommute Teacher for the Visually Impaired in Downey.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Teach students that are blind, going blind, have a limited site, or have another visual impairment
- Teach core curriculum, braille skills, Nemeth braille, and independent living strategies
- Take on a mild to moderate caseload in a Virginia school district
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Master's Level Degree in Education for Teaching Visually Impaired Students
- State Teaching Certification in Visual Education required by start of school
- Must be tech savvy
