Job Summary
An optical industry platform is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Technical Application Support Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Acting as an escalation point for advanced customer issues
- Assisting with all support cases during periods of heavy volume
- Leading support efforts for customers who have been determined to have Critical value
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Technical Support or a customer-facing technical role
- 5+ years prior experience in support of complex, Linux based enterprise software applications
- 2+ years experience supporting Kafka, Kubernetes and Docker components as part of a larger solution
- 2+ years of SQL experience
- 3+ years Linux administration
