Job Summary
A training company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Technical Editor in Bloomington.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Performing quality assurance reviews and thoroughly test functionality of online materials
- Applying appropriate style standards for the project and client
- Supporting project editorial needs to review, copy edit, and proofread documents
Position Requirements Include:
- Excellent writing and copy editing skills
- Extreme attention to accuracy, which is essential to an editing position
- Bachelor's degree in English, technical writing, journalism, or related field
- Familiarity with client style guides, The Chicago Manual of Style, and/or The Microsoft Manual of Style
- Strong facility with full Microsoft Office suite of applications
