Job Summary

An information technology company is seeking a Telecommute Technical Operations Director in Atlanta.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with leadership teams
  • Ensuring the security of systems, electronic data, and intellectual property
  • Maintaining documentation of system configuration, maintenance procedures, and interdependencies

Qualifications for this position include:

  • BS or BA in a related discipline
  • Minimum of 15+ years of overall IT operations experience
  • Minimum of 10 years managing the computing infrastructure, and system administration and technical support staff of a commercial software
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, MySQL, Java application servers, and Python
  • Experience with web servers, blade servers, SANs, and VMWare
  • Experience managing similar technologies on a top-tier public cloud platform
