Job Summary
A software company is seeking a Telecommute Technical Support and Solutions Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Answering technical questions about software installation, deployment and usage scenarios
- Assisting customers with installation and configuration of software
- Working directly with customers to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues with software
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Engineering degree with 2 or more years of professional technical support experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS Administration and Troubleshooting
- Experience with Linux Administration and Troubleshooting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self starter, highly motivated and works with little or no supervision
- Genuinely passionate in helping others, takes ownership and pride in their job
