Job Summary
An information technology company is filling a position for a Telecommute Technical Support Representative.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer questions, getting positive customer satisfaction survey comments
- Answer phone calls for customers needing technical assistance and provides timely feedback to the company regarding service
- Assist customers with basic technical troubleshooting (point of sale systems, hardware, and software)
Qualifications for this position include:
- A least one technical or customer service certification
- A+, CompTIA, or similar certification
- Experience with troubleshooting Windows operating systems, multi-function printers, and networking a plus
- Ability to handle calls with professionalism, sensitivity, and diplomacy under pressure
- Ability to work 100% from within our knowledge base without deviation
- Microsoft Office proficiency with the ability to talk and type at least 35 words per minute
