Job Summary

A staffing company is seeking a Telecommute Technical Writer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Process and module documents (user guides)
  • Create echnical reference docs, help files
  • Develop release notes containing features and defects

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor' s degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Solid experience authoring and editing end user documents
  • Strong aptitude for learning new software applications and systems
  • Superb written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
  • At least 6 years experience creating end user documentation
  • Ability to follow defined styles, standards, and templates
