Job Summary
An IT company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Technical Writer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Analyzing existing and potential content and make changes in the existing documents to update these as per the latest information
- Producing high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Interviewing subject matter experts/program specialist to obtain details in order to accurately capture content material
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum 2+ years technical writing experience
- Experience creating technical documents
- BS Degree in English, Journalism or mass communications
- Experience coordinating training programs and scheduling training courses
- Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Vision and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with contributors, designers and webmasters
