Job Summary

An IT company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Technical Writer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Analyzing existing and potential content and make changes in the existing documents to update these as per the latest information
  • Producing high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
  • Interviewing subject matter experts/program specialist to obtain details in order to accurately capture content material

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Minimum 2+ years technical writing experience
  • Experience creating technical documents
  • BS Degree in English, Journalism or mass communications
  • Experience coordinating training programs and scheduling training courses
  • Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Vision and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with contributors, designers and webmasters
