Job Summary

A company that has a platform that integrates trusted open source technologies and extends their functionality is in need of a Telecommute Technical Writer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Planning, producing, editing & maintaining effective documentation including reference materials, tutorials, FAQs, knowledge base articles
• Supporting the execution of the product content process and workflow
• Establishing authoring guidelines including best practices for vocabulary, tone, localization, and accessibility

Required Skills:

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related experience
• 4+ years of experience as a technical writer
• Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, comprehensive, developer-focused documentation
• Ability to work closely with Engineering and Professional Services to create original content drawn from real world client needs
