Job Summary
An employee information company has an open position for a Telecommute Technical Writer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Researching, outlining, writing & editing new & existing content, working closely with various departments to understand requirements
- Working independently & with SMEs to develop, organize & write procedure manuals, technical specifications & process documentation
- Working with development & support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise & edit & determine best solution for storage
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field
- Experience working with product and engineering to help create and refine technical support content
- 2-4 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer
- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
