Job Summary
A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Technical Writer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Writing and updating end-user, administrator, and developer documentation
- Performing content analysis and develop documentation plans for new features and products
- Writing clear, crisp, and complete release notes for regular product updates
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3+ years experience in a technical writer role
- Demonstrated ability to write for diverse audiences, including non-technical end users, IT experts
- Experience with agile software development projects
- Experience with law enforcement agencies, criminal justice, or other public safety organizations or cloud computing
- Experience in producing user documentation including installation guides, configuration guides
- Strong working knowledge and application of style guides and industry practices
