Job Summary
An eCommerce company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Technology DevOps Engineer II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Increasing overall system reliability and reducing the impact of bugs/outages across a complex software ecosystem
- Mining and sharing data on performance and availability of new and existing software systems
- Automating and hardening deployed software and processes, reducing the average time for deploying new software
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experienced with agile software development and configuration
- Experienced with CI/CD and knowledgeable of common architectural design patterns
- Familiar with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and Hybrid Cloud Service, and understand distributed environments
- Experienced with Linux sysadmin, comfortable with scripting (Bash, Python)
- Experienced utilizing one or more data management systems
- Experienced with automation activities including provisioning, configuration, scaling, and monitoring of systems
