Job Summary

A digital media publisher is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Technology News Writer and Editor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Editing and managing e-newsletters covering a range of technology topics
• Managing relationships with associations, corporations and other business clients as well as content providers
• Meeting deadlines as given and manage multiple deadlines or projects as needed

Qualifications Include:

• Publishing experience covering a range of technology-related news for at least 3-5 years
• Sophisticated understanding of how to find news and information on the web
• Proven editing skills and comfort with using online publishing tools
• Ability to edit quickly and accurately on deadline, starting at 6 a.m. ET, Monday through Friday
• Knowledge of Associated Press style
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
