Job Summary
A nonprofit network of hospitals, clinics, and home care services is seeking a Telecommute Telehospitalist Program Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing leadership within the hospitalist program in order to ensure effective, efficient hospitalist operations
- Creating a culture of innovation, learning, teamwork and professional practice, consistent with our mission, vision and values
- Interviewing and hiring process including completion of employment forms in an accurate and timely manner
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in BSN, a medical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Hospital experience
- Healthcare management experience
- Knowledge of diagnostic and procedural coding requirements in conjunction with submission of insurance claims to third party payers
- Knowledge of personnel administration and patient relation principles
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
