Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Telemedicine Physician.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing high-quality clinical care utilizing best practices set forth by our medical advisors specializing in addiction medicine
- Evaluating patient records, diagnose, and prescribe medication when safe and appropriate
- Providing lifestyle recommendations to patients related to substance use-specific goals
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Unrestricted MD or DO licensure in Massachusetts, required
- Experience with and understanding of FDA-approved medication options for Alcohol Use Disorder
- 1+ years of experience working with patients looking to change their relationship with alcohol (or another substance)
- Knowledge of SUD DSM criteria
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
