Job Summary

An information technology company specializing in cyber security solutions is in need of a Telecommute Threat Hunt Analyst.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Researching, assessing and analyzing intrusion events and prevention utilizing anomaly detection tools
• Following pre-defined procedures to respond to and escalate incidents
• Regularly communicating with clients to inform about and help mitigate issues

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to keep current with latest security trends and news to continually improve hunt operations
• Ability to self-teach and self-test new tools and methodologies, and to problem-solve independently
• 1-3 years minimum of hands-on experience investigating cyber incidents or SOC level I-II experience
• Ability to go beyond standard procedures and think outside the box to create solutions
• Demonstrated knowledge of intrusion detection systems, various operating systems (Windows/UNIX), and web technologies (focusing on Internet security)
• Knowledge of various attack vectors and the overall attack surface
