A cybersecurity and IT company has a current position open for a Telecommute Threat Researcher.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Creating new protection analytics and prototype innovative detection methods
- Researching and prototyping techniques
- Applying hands-on expertise developed during previous Research, Engineering, Hunt, or Incident Response activities
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in analytic development for OS-agnostic malicious behavior detection
- 4 years hands-on experience in security roles
- Expert-level understanding of post-exploit behaviors, forensic artifacts, and security controls
- Experience performing host-based analysis on Windows, Linux, and/or Mac
- A deep understanding of computer systems, networks, and protocols
- Experience with programming in Python or a similar language
