Job Summary

The Transaction Payment Manager plays a key role at eXp Realty and oversees all processes related to Payment Processing. They provide oversight and management of the state/regional team and work closely with other departments to ensure efficient processes and communication.

The Transaction Payment Manager is responsible for the organization of the Payment Processing Team to effectively process all transactions in compliance with company policy as well as timely and accurate commission payments to agents.


Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of Payment Processing Specialists and Compliance Payment Specialists
Oversees and is responsible for personnel mgmt/staffing needs (OT) for their sub-region
Accountable for the following:
PCC / STA rates in sub-region
Monthly closeout
Agent interactions
State collaboration
Audit findings
Identifies additional training needs and communicates updated processes/procedures to the team
Works closely with the product team to provide system feedback, testing, and support at launch
Coordinates team coverage, approval of timecards and PTO scheduling
Monitors workload of team and suggests realignment when necessary
Keeps current and new policies updated as a reference point for the team
Reviews weekly activity reports and determines where further clarification, training, or oversight is necessary
Performs periodic audits of transaction files for compliance
Serves as the primary point of contact for escalations or day-of questions from team leads/other departments as well as State Brokers, agents, and other eXp partners


Assists with the successful transition of onboarding transactions for Mega Teams
Maintains Team Trello Board
Administers Payment Processing Group in Workplace, posting information, sharing to other eXp Groups when appropriate, and making sure roster and Payment Processing Team Org Chart is kept accurate at all times
Liaison between Growth department and Payment Processing.
Facilitates team meetings and prepares agenda/slides
Monitors and works with the Brokerage Operations team to identify additional training and/or communication needs for the team as well as agents, or Brokerage Operations.
Participate in weekly Payment Processing Team Stand-Ups as well as monthly team leadership meetings
Assists team when additional coverage is needed by performing PPS lead tasks
Attends eXp weekly Leadership Meeting in eXp World Auditorium
Conducts Performance Improvement Plans when necessary
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well with agents;
Respond to agents' questions in a timely and professional manner;
Work independently, resolve problems in a timely manner


Education:
BA/AA strongly preferred
High School Diploma/GED required


Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
3+ years of relevant experience in a high-volume, real estate transaction process with a focus on delivering a world-class customer service/experience;
1+ years of management experience
Real Estate Experience in Transaction Contract Management required
Ability to read and interpret documents including real estate contracts, leases, and settlement statements;
Highly adaptable and a clear-thinking problem solver;
A self-starter on individual projects and a contributing member on team projects with a can do attitude;
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills;
Professional telephone skills;
Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills;
Positive, trustworthy and dependable;
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word;
SkySlope experience preferred
Ability to work remotely with no direct in-person supervision
