Job Summary
A global transportation company has a current position open for a Telecommute Transportation Freight Broker.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Negotiating transportation rates and closely following market trends and seasonality of lanes and modes
- Developing customer relationships to secure freight via phone, internet, and networking, and other means
- Ensuring all activities are compliant with the industry laws and regulations
Required Skills:
- Ability to travel 1-2% travel to attend training
- 3-5 years' transportation freight broker experience preferred
- Flat bed, Van and reefer experience required
- Ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others with confidence and enthusiasm
