Job Summary
A dairy manufacturer and distributor has an open position for a Telecommute Transportation Planner.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing transportation events and enhance carrier utilization to ensure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction
- Facilitating all Transportation related activities, such as understanding freight bill payments & assisting Accounts payable in resolution
- Identifying & implementing continuous process improvements by strategically develop, recommend, savings & improvement programs
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 4-year degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- 1+ Years of comparable Logistics experience desired
