Job Summary
A company in the travel industry is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Travel Industry Operations Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing approximately 5 to 50 exempt and/or non-exempt direct or indirect reports
- Conducting one-on-one meetings on a regular basis and ensures the MCAP process is maximized
- Managing special projects as assigned
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- May require travel to destinations worldwide (up to 10%)
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in event or meeting management or event/meeting procurement
- Prior experience with pharmaceutical meetings required
- College degree or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years proven supervisory and leadership experience with a multifunctional team
- Strong knowledge of program/event management and budget maintenance
