Job Summary
A multi-specialty physician group has an open position for a Telecommute Triage Medical Assistant in Lisle.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Responding to and prioritizing incoming patient messages and normal test results
- Scheduling appointments, tests and procedures as needed
- Performing a variety of tasks such as faxing, processing mail, maintaining patient records, etc
Position Requirements Include:
- High school diploma or GED and completion of accredited Medical or Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent experience
- Current and active certification through the AAMA or AMT (governing body of the RMA)
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA
