Job Summary
A technology company is seeking a Telecommute UI and UX Design Specialist.
Must be able to:
- Conduct data-driven usability research by speaking with customers, performing usability observation sessions, and analyzing similar products
- Participate in product-level interface design, including the implementation of lightweight changes using HTML, CSS, and JS
- Use the data collected to improve existing products and to influence the design of new products
Qualifications for this position include:
- Obsessive attention to detail and the desire to provide users with pixel perfect usable designs
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design
- Able to balance ease of use and advanced functionality while maintaining attractive, clean designs
- Experience with any of the following (HTML, CSS, React, Apache Cassandra /DSE)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with team coordination tools (JIRA/Confluence) and agile development processes (Scrum/Kanban)
