Job Summary

A provider of mortgage lending services is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Review/analyze loan files
  • Identify/calculate loan risk of loss.
  • Revisit loans to review and clear conditions.

Qualifications Include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of residential mortgage underwriting experience
  • Experience working with Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter and Freddie Mac Loan Prospector
  • Knowledge of FHA, FNMA and FHLMC policies and guidelines
  • Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products and underwriting guidelines
  • Knowledge of mortgage insurance (MI) guidelines
