Job Summary
An insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Underwriter I.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Selecting, pricing, quoting, and declining new vacant property business
- Managing renewal business in accordance with company guidelines
- Servicing existing accounts via the evaluation of endorsement requests
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Occasionally visit with brokers/agents to maintain business relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- 1+ years of Property and Casualty underwriting experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
