Job Summary
An information technology and software has a current position open for a Telecommute Unix Linux Administrator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Analyzes, logs, tracks and resolves complex software/hardware matters of significance
- Coordinates hardware/software installations and upgrades to ensure work is properly performed
- Coordinates and monitors troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Strong and solid background in Linux Operating System administration skills (8+years)
- 8+ years of experience with software development, especially in Linux environment
- Experience with one or more of the following languages: Java, C++, Perl, Python, Bash, PowerShell
- 8+ years Experience with tools such as Solaris
- Experience supporting a large/medium/small scale, elastic, highly available cloud environment
- Deep knowledge of some Linux tool, such as RedHat 5,6,7,8, Oracle Linux, and Oracle OVM
