Job Summary

A technology company is filling a position for a Telecommute User Interface Software Engineer in Raleigh.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Write non-blocking code, and resort to advanced techniques such as web-workers
  • Write and maintain the front-end of our web applications
  • Partner with the platform engineers in the process of defining the RESTful API

Required Skills:

  • Onsite interview
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable experience
  • Proficient knowledge of CSS and CSS pre-processors such as SASS or LESS
  • Proficient knowledge of the "event loop" in JavaScript
  • Track record of delivering high-quality features and services in a SaaS web application
  • Conforming to contemporary "best practices", such as validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback
