Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Telecommute Utilization Management Behavioral Health Care Advocate.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing utilization management, utilization review, or concurrent review of behavioral health admissions and continued stay
- Ensuring that behavioral health care services provided are medically necessary, per standard guidelines
- Ensuring that behavioral health care services are provided in the most appropriate setting
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Licensed Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling
- 3+ years of experience in behavioral health
- Current and independent unrestricted license in the state of residence
- 3+ years post-licensure clinical experience in an appropriate behavioral health environment
